Building Inspection Program

History

The Building Inspection Program began its education in the 2012-2013 academic year.

Degree Awarded

Students who successfully complete all the courses in the curriculum are awarded the title of Building Inspection Technician with an associate degree.

Admission Requirements

  • Turkish citizens must complete the processes determined by ÖSYM within the framework of our university's academic and legal regulations and pass the required exams.

Vertical Transfer

Students who successfully complete the Building Inspection program can transfer to bachelor's programs if they obtain sufficient scores in the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) conducted by ÖSYM. Graduates can vertically transfer to the Civil Engineering bachelor's program.

Graduation Requirements

To graduate, students must pass all courses (120 ECTS) and achieve a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.00/4.00. Additionally, students must have completed and received approval for a 36 working days professional internship.

Employment Opportunities for Graduates

Graduates of this program can find employment in private organizations (such as building inspection companies, contracting firms, and project offices) operating in all provinces and districts of Turkey, or they can work in various government institutions.

Assessment and Evaluation

Students are entitled to three exam opportunities each semester: a midterm exam, a final exam, and a makeup exam. Student performance is evaluated according to the Relative Grading System.

Note: As of the 2018-2019 academic year, admissions to this program have been suspended.
