Construction Technology Program
History
The Construction Program was opened for education in 1989. With the establishment of Muş Alparslan University in 2007, the Construction Program of Muş Alparslan University Vocational School continued its educational activities under the name of the Department of Construction Technologies starting from the 2009-2010 academic year.
Mission
The mission of our program is to provide students with nationally and internationally qualified education and training, equipping them with the skills to meet the needs of the construction sector. We aim to develop individuals who can solve problems using their acquired knowledge, create designs, and embody ethical values required in their profession, while being competent, collaborative, free-thinking, and able to express their ideas verbally. Additionally, we strive to contribute to science.

Degree Awarded
Students who successfully complete this program are entitled to receive an associate degree in Construction Technology (the title of Construction Technician).
Admission Requirements
Turkish citizens must complete the processes determined by ÖSYM and pass the exams as per our university's academic and legal regulations. Foreign students are admitted according to our university's "Regulations on Application, Admission, and Registration of Foreign Students."
Vertical Transfer
Graduates of the Construction Technology program can transition to undergraduate programs if they achieve sufficient scores in the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) conducted by ÖSYM. Our graduates have the opportunity to transfer to bachelor's programs in Civil Engineering and Architecture.
Graduation Requirements
To graduate, students must successfully complete all courses (totaling 120 ECTS) and achieve a minimum Weighted Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.00/4.00. Additionally, students must have completed and accepted a 36-day Professional Internship.
Employment Opportunities for Graduates
Graduates of the Construction Technology Department can find employment in public and private sectors, in construction supervision firms domestically, and as technical personnel in technical offices and construction sites abroad.
Assessment and Evaluation
Students are given three exam opportunities each semester: Midterm Exam, Final Exam, and Makeup Exam. Student success is evaluated according to a Relative Evaluation System.
