A Seminar on the IPARD Program and TKDK’s Support Activities Was Held.

At the seminar organized by the Technical Sciences Vocational School (TBMYO) of our university, the IPARD Program and the support activities of the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution (TKDK) were addressed.

The event, held at the Prof. Dr. Sabahattin Zaim Conference Hall, was attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ, TBMYO Director Dr. Lecturer Fatih Şevgin, academic staff of TBMYO, and students. The seminar was coordinated by Head of the Construction Department, Lecturer Zekeriya Artun.

During the seminar, Bünyamin Süne, the Muş Provincial Coordinator of TKDK, introduced the IPARD Program and shared valuable knowledge and experiences related to professional life with the students. Süne especially emphasized key points to consider when planning a career, underlining the importance of learning foreign languages and adapting to the demands of the modern age.

Following Süne’s speech, Dr. Deniz Karabulut, an Application Acceptance Specialist in the Project Application Management Unit, delivered a presentation. Karabulut stated that TKDK, operating under the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and accredited by the European Union, has been providing investment support activities across various sectors since 2011. She noted that as of 2024, the third phase of the IPARD Program will be implemented. In her presentation, Karabulut shared that TKDK has provided 44.8 billion TL in grant support for investments amounting to 98.1 billion TL. The sectors to be supported under the IPARD III Program include livestock, processing and marketing, and rural area investments. Additionally, it was shared that under the LEADER measure, activities carried out by local action groups are funded at 100%.

At the end of the seminar, following the Q&A session, Lecturer Zekeriya Artun expressed his gratitude to TKDK Muş Provincial Coordinator Bünyamin Süne, Application Acceptance Specialist Dr. Deniz Karabulut, and all participants. In closing, Lecturer Artun also extended his thanks to our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican and TBMYO Director Dr. Lecturer Fatih Şevgin for their support.
